In this session participants will learn to:
- Understand the different types of safety and heath hazards in the workplace.
- The 4 worker rights.
- Understand the Manitoba Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
- Understand different roles and responsibilties in the workplace (Internal Responsibility System).
- Identify hazards and report any hazards and injuries in the workplace.
This session is geared towards individuals who are new to safety in the workplace and want a basic knowledge and understanding of Occupational Safety and Health.
