Ergonomics involves fitting the job to the worker. Ergonomic hazards exist when the design and organization of the work create musculoskeletal physical problems for the worker. Proper stockroom lifting techniques as well as cash register workstation considerations will be discussed.

This workshop will provide you the basic knowledge and tools required to conduct a baseline assessment of your workplace/workstations and help you to identify and correct potential MSI injuries before they become serious. Injuries lead to time loss and a potential increase of Workers Compensation Board claims.
